נבא‎ (√ of following; see Biblical Hebrew id., but especially Bewer^{Amos. J. Semitic Lang., Jan. 1902} who compare Assyrian nabû, tear away, lead forcibly, hence prophets as (figuratively) carried away by divine frenzy, ecstasy, compare 1 Samuel 10:6, 10; 19:20, 24).
